Leslie Costigan, Founder of PayPlus Payroll, LLC
Prior to starting her own payroll company, Leslie acquired 25 years of experience working for other Massachusetts companies providing Bookkeeping, Payroll and Human Resource support. Through this experience she found herself frustrated with the lack of customer service and mediocre systems that so many companies tolerate. She saw an opportunity to create a Massachusetts payroll company that brings excellence in all areas of her expertise with a foundation built on personal commitment to accurate and timely support, delivered with personalized, professional service.

Leslie earned a Bachelors degree from U Massachusetts Amherst, and a MBA from U Massachusetts Lowell. She acquired the designation of CPP (Certified Payroll Provider) in 2007, which is a designation that very few payroll providers accomplish. She is also QuickBooks Pro Certified.
Leslie has had a lifelong love of theatre arts. She has been a Producer and served on the Board of Directors for Blanchard Stony Brook Productions, a theatre group at the middle schools in Westford for over 10 years. She now provides accounting services to this non profit organization.
Leslie is an animal lover and in her spare time breeds and shows Ragdolls cats. She shares her house with her husband (who also happens to be allergic to cats), 6 adult cats, and a Chocolate Lab named Tucker. Her other interests are golf, skiing, and helping her husband build a 4 passenger plane. Leslie enjoys making memories with her 3 children and 2 grandchildren at her lake house in New Hampshire.
Who is Cindy Bates?
Cindy comes to PayPlus with over 15 years of experience in the banking industry and 9 years of accounting experience in the auto industry, including 3 years of payroll experience.
She is married to Chris Bates and is the mother of three grown sons. She is the loving grandmother to three granddaughters and one grandson. She enjoys camping, NASCAR Racing, and spending time with her family.

Who is Judith Guertin?
Judith Guertin comes to PayPlus with 10 years in the organizing industry. Judy has helped hundreds of business owners gain a fuller understanding of the systems necessary to help them run their businesses at maximum efficiency. She has provided training, seminars and individual support to a wide range of businesses from single business owners to medium sized companies. Judy is excited to be able to offer these services to our PayPlus family. Excellence in customer service is Judy’s passion.
Judy has a BS from the
Judy has been married for 29 years and has one son who recently graduated from UMass Dartmouth. She is a dog lover, breeding and showing Miniature Schnauzers for the majority of her adult life. No dogs currently, but she is the “grandma” of Monty the Python who belongs to her son. She enjoys gardening, needlepoint, reading, learning about her new iPad. Judy belongs to the Blister Buddies, an MS Challenge Walk team. She herself has completed the walk three times and continues to volunteer for various fundraising events. Judy is hoping that one day very soon that the cure for Multiple Sclerosis will be found.
